This is a NEW PROGRAM! We are still in the preparation stage. We are not able to help with the 2020/2021 winter season, but as we get more volunteers this is what will be available next winter season!
Firewood is a critical resource that is very difficult to replenish if you run out in the middle of winter! It is also an excellent supplemental head source if you are trying to keep your electric or natural gas bills low!
You were diligent over the summer months. You got the permits, cut and chopped what you thought you would need for the winter, but then winter was more extreme than you thought it would be. You wound up having to burn double what you thought you would need for the whole winter or winter lasted longer than you expected. What happens when you run out? In the middle of winter, you can’t just run up to the mountains to go collect more so what do you do? You call us!!! We have volunteers all over the Pacific Northwest that are currently piling up firewood so that it can be available when it is needed!

If you manage to make it through the winter season and have some extra firewood this spring, please contact us! We would love to give you a tax deductible receipt for your donation! If you need court ordered community service hours, please contact us! We have equipment and are a 501c3 with the ability to sign off on your hours if you are willing to go get the firewood for us! We also need people that are willing to store it until it is needed.
