Relief Packages
The majority of our rural firefighter departments are volunteer. We often find that many of these departments are severely underfunded. Especially when it comes to “amenities” such as bottled water, electrolyte infused drinks, high calorie snacks, moleskin, etc. We share a sentiment with many other community members that are serviced by these amazing volunteer heroes that these things shouldn’t be considered amenities, but rather necessities. Since most of these departments often find themselves having to pay for these things out of their personal pockets, we decided to launch a care package program for ANY volunteer or underfunded firefighting department within our coverage area!
Any time that any department sends out a request, we will leap into action to make sure a care package is delivered within 24 hours. (ASAP if you are actively on a wildfire that requires structure protection). This care package consist of 4 cases of bottled water, 3 cases of electrolyte beverage, 2 boxes of high protein or high calorie snacks, and up to $25 worth of additional specific requests such as Moleskin, Chapstick, etc. We understand the majority of the time the initial responders are almost always volunteer. You shouldn’t have to worry about staying hydrated or energized while focusing on saving our homes! Let us help you!
